Weigh two choices while plucking petals

Plucking petals one by one while alternating between two choices is a long-standing custom. But the number of petals is either odd or even, so where the last one falls is settled from the start. That is why this tool does not treat the outcome as the answer. Instead, partway through it asks you once which side you were hoping for. It is a place to see a leaning your heart already had, not a place to decide what comes next. Object reading works differently: pick one thing that caught your eye today, and it reads where that object's element sits in relation to your day stem. It does not tell you what the object means; it shows how it relates to you.
